Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Vectig ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use Vectig on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms for that company, and "you" includes it. These terms cover both founder accounts and investor accounts, described below. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Vectig is investor relations software for venture-backed founders. The Service assembles a draft of your investor update from the financial metrics you provide and the prior updates you supply, models cash flow and runway with scenario projections and exportable reports, delivers updates to the investors you choose, and shows you per-investor reading activity. Vectig also provides a free viewer where investors can read the updates founders send them.

Drafts and forecasts are working documents built from the data you provide. They are not financial, legal, or investment advice. You are responsible for reviewing every update and approving it before it is sent.

3. Accounts

You sign in with a one-time email link; there are no passwords. You are responsible for the security of your email account and must not share sign-in links. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract.

Founder accounts are paid accounts for the people and companies who create and send updates. Investor accounts are free accounts for the recipients of those updates.

4. Your Content and Data

You own what you put into Vectig and what Vectig drafts for you. Your metrics, your prior updates, your contact lists, and the updates you send are your content. You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to provide the Service, and we claim no other rights over it. You can export your data at any time.

When you upload investor contact details, you confirm that you may lawfully share them with us and that you have the right to send updates to those recipients.

5. AI Drafting

The narrative engine that drafts your updates is conditioned on your own prior updates and metrics, supplied as context at drafting time. Your data is never used to train any model. No fine-tuning occurs, and none of your data enters any model's weights.

Drafts can contain errors or omissions. You are responsible for verifying every figure and statement before you send an update. What you send to your investors is your communication, not ours.

6. Sending and Engagement Tracking

When you send an update through Vectig, we deliver it to the recipients you selected, on your instruction. The Service records per-recipient reading activity, such as opens and clicks, and shows that activity to you. You are responsible for the content of your updates and for having the right to email each recipient. We may decline to deliver content that violates these terms.

7. Investor Accounts

Investor accounts are free. An investor sees exactly what each founder chose to send to a verified address they control, and nothing more: no financials beyond the updates themselves, and no aggregation or benchmarks built across founders' private data. If an update was forwarded to you, you can request access, and the founder decides. Reading activity on updates you open is visible to the founder who sent them, as it is in ordinary email tools. Investor accounts must not be used to access updates addressed to someone else.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Send spam, or send updates to recipients you have no right to contact
• Impersonate another person or company, or misrepresent who an update is from
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, or to accounts or updates that are not yours
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service

9. Payment Terms

Paid plans start with a 7-day free trial. You add a card up front, and you are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel first. Current plans and prices are listed on the pricing page. Billing is handled by Paddle, our merchant of record; Paddle handles payment collection, taxes, and card data, and we never see or store your card details. You can cancel at any time from the dashboard, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Your first charge is covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee, described in our Refund Policy. Promotional offers, including the founding partner program, may carry their own terms; where those differ from this section, the promotional terms apply. Investor accounts are free and require no card.

10. Third-Party Services

We rely on service providers to operate Vectig, including Paddle for payments and infrastructure providers for email delivery, file storage, and AI drafting. Each operates under its own terms and privacy policy. If you connect a third-party account to supply your metrics, you authorize Vectig to retrieve that data on your behalf and confirm that you are permitted to grant that access.

11. Service Availability

We work to keep Vectig available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability.

12. Limitation of Liability

Vectig is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for decisions that you, your investors, or any recipient make based on drafts, forecasts, or updates produced through the Service; the content of an update is the sender's responsibility. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms. You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account and its data at any time; deletion requests are processed within 30 days, as described in our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you by email or in the product before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
